Quant a miRetired librarian, aged 71. My last position was Chief Librarian at the Military Technological College in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. I was in post from 2013-2015 and created the library at this new armed forces engineering college. The College library used an integrated library system and had a self-service issue/return using 3M kit.

la meva biblioteca
My personal library is very small and, time permitting, I hope that it will be catalogued onto LibraryThing during 2020. I also want to experiment with TinyCat so that I am better able to advise any small libraries that wish to use it. Had I known about it at the time I think TinyCat would have been a good application to use at the College in Oman, although as the College Library had multiple copies of many textbooks a circulation work-around of some kind would have been necessary as TinyCat does not yet easily handle the issuing of multiple copies of the same work.
