Quant a miI never know what to write here...
I'm 36, I live just outside Manchester with my husband, daughter, son a cat and a wonderful view of open moorland just across the road.
I work for the NHS with people with Learning Disabilities.
I love sewing, knitting, crochet, jewellery making, making things in general, but the procrastination, perfectionism & children mean I don't really produce as much as I'd like.
Quant a
la meva bibliotecaI will read anything, from kids books which I can't bear to throw out, Mills & Boon (which get handed straight onto my Mum or the charity shop), to the heavy stuff from my English degree.
Over the past few years I've found an interest in English history, so I'm building a healthy collection of books around that, and I also have LOTS of craft related books (my other obsession).
So far I have one wall of the lounge full of books, some more upstairs in the bedroom, and several boxes of kids books still at my parents.
I'm hoping to fill more walls with shelves. Books are far more interesting than standard insulation, unfortunately not as cost efficient.
"I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves." - Anna Quindlen
