Quant a miI've been an Apple Distinguished Educator since 1995. Bought my first personal computer in 1980 - an Apple. I retired in 2006 from forty one years of service as a teacher and school librarian. I'm from an old Cape Cod family with several Mayflower roots and return in the summer each year to "renew the mud between my toes". I fish the surf as well as surf the net. My motto - "Embrace change, don't fear it".

la meva bibliotecaWe have a large collection of family cookbooks. There are also many childrens' books selected for my son. Many of his books that he read in grade school have been donated to a school library wiped out by Katrina.
Have lots of ebooks - I read on Palm devices for more than ten years. I purchased an iPod Touch and have that filled with ebooks. And, yes I can and do read whole books on ebook readers. It's just so nice to carry around a library of over 500 books in my shirt pocket.

Since we aquired iPhone 6+'s we have our fastest readers always with us. And I've added a Kindle paperwhite for the battery considerations.

I can't stand the arguments about what device to purchase, for me it's simply do you live in the Apple ecosystem. The last purchase was a 64GB iPad Air2.
