Quant a miLawyer - English law trained with experience of work in a number of financial centres (London, Paris, New York, Moscow, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Jakarta and Sao Paulo). During service in the army I spent time in Germany and Norway and when I was deciding whether to become a lawyer I lived for a year on a Greek island (Symi). I am reasonably addicted to long distance cycling (audax/brevet - completed Paris Brest Paris in 2011 in 88 hours 42 mins). Classic "MAMIL".

la meva bibliotecaMy interests reflect what I have done as a job or as a past-time over certain periods and as a result are fairly wide-ranging and include law, foreign languages, military history (especially SOE, insurgency, low intensity warfare, Russian civil war), cryptography, mathematics/statistics, general science, physical training, cycling and outdoor work. If I find something interesting then I tend to follow every relevant book I can get my hands on - the threads that I have followed in the past are there for you to see.
