In disarray from frequent moves. Primarily reference books and poetry. Essay collections and short stories also fill the shelves. Probably due to something like an attention deficit disorder, I am not generally fond of novels. For older works of literature, I often rely on Gutenberg.org and other Net sites offering literature to read online or download. It is particularly useful to have text files of books when I want to search for keywords in longer works. I definitely prefer plain printed and published, old fashioned, bound paper books. But the availability of good literature and reference works on the Net is wonderful. I hope that great bound books and digital books can continue to enjoy a peaceful coexistence.

Sobre mi

I live in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. After being absent from Juarez for a couple of decades, I returned in April 2007. A month or so after my return, the Juarez police force was disbanded and the city was placed under military occupation Initially, 10,000 troops were sent. I assumed all this constituted a sort of "Welcome Wagon" for my return. I was wrong.
