Quant a miI'm a Computer Technologist, Astronomer, kaj Esperantisto. Interestingly enough, it looks like LibraryThing doesn't like esperantaj libroj.

There is a Librarian within me struggling to get out. Seven years ago it was really a debate whether I'd end up getting my Masters in Astronomy or Library Science. Astronomy won out, but an MLS is still not off the table.

Quant a
la meva biblioteca
In 1973, at the age of eight, I entered a store in Virginia Beach, VA while on vacation. I started slowly, very slowly, reading "Star Trek" by James Blish. When we were ready to leave I begged my Mom to buy the $0.95 book. I spent the next few weeks laboriously reading my first non scholastic book. I still have it.

Libraries have long been seen as the purview of an educated man. Browsing through a person’s library can tell you a lot about them, for our libraries are, indeed, reflections of ourselves. Here you will see that reflection mirrored in this database. The subjects range from religion to science, from fiction to reference, from Gay literature to textbooks. You will see the Greats - Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein, Clancy - and hopefully, perhaps, the Greats-To-Be...
