I read between 100 and 200 books per year. Mostly nonfiction books about business, biographies, creativity, writing, philosophy, psychology, marketing, libraries, research, and history. As someone who was a professional librarian for ten years, my home library is organized with the Dewey Decimal system.

I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Michigan State University as well as a master's degree in library science from North Carolina Central University. For 10 years I was a middle school/high school librarian for a private K-12 school in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since then, I've been an entrepreneur.
