About My Library
Non-fiction, cookbooks, scrapbooking & art books with a healthy dose of fiction. Boxes of YA books in the garage until the little guy is a reader. Many of the titles have been with me since I was a kiddo.
About Me
I am a MLIS student and teacher working in a special library. I love books and can't get enough reading. I tend to collect more than I can handle - but it's a good thing for sure. I taught 4th and 5th grade for a while, so I have a bundle of YA books too.
For 2008 I tried not buy any books. For real. I read what I own or got it from the library. I did allow myself a couple books when I was on vacation. :)
For 2009 - I am letting new books in -- and borrowing a bunch -- I am trying really hard to complete my 999 w/out any overlaps!

I am working hard to share my love of reading with my little guy -- of course I can retell Mrs. Wishy Washy by heart these days. But cozying up and "talk about it" [as he says]-- there's nothing better than that.
