Hi! My name's Mike, I'm 29, and I'm a 'reformed continuationist.' In other words, I'm a Christian who believes in the doctrines of grace and in the gifts of the Holy Spirit -- that they are for today).

I'm not the most avid (dutiful) reader, and I tend to be driven by the Holy Spirit most often in dependance upon the Word of God and in Prayer.

Similar to how The Holy Spirit drove the Lord Jesus into the wilderness (Mark 1:12), so I believe the Holy Spirit in us, will generally drive true believers to depend on the "Word of His Grace" before the reading of good books

(See Psalms 119:25 & verse 28, & verse 93; Also Acts 20:32; And Proverbs 23:23).

Having said this, my conviction is that God has given to His dear church "pastors according to His heart, who will feed us with knowledge and understanding." Jeremiah 3:15

To dismiss and reject the potential good that could come to our faith and to our spiritual development from the reading of good books -- is to disbelieve the afore-mentioned truth above in Jeremiah 3:15, as well as that of Ephesians 4:11-12 in the New Testament.

My hope is that, if you desire to know better a particular topic found in my library, that your desire would be granted (see Proverbs 10:24) and I'd be able to meet that need.
