la meva bibliotecaThis is a list of books that have made a mark on me over the years, ranging in time from what I recall reading since learning how. It covers from about 1946 or 47, when I learned to read, up to today, and includes memorable books I just finished There are others I've forgotten, but happily, every now and again, one comes to mind.

I also include most of the books read since joining LibraryThing, and occasionally winnow out ones that no longer seem important. Ones I've considered, skimmed, then decided not to read are not mentioned. Maybe some of the most important volumes in my life are so embedded in my selfhood that they are lost to memory.

So, I've scanned, skimmed, read, reread or otherwise engaged with all these works. They only go in the library when I consider I've finished them.

Books with an "own" tag comprise my current physical library of about 100 works. Mostly, I borrow books and ebooks from libraries. I also buy many books, but only keep a few, and pass the rest along.

The listing "Zzz-tag" is not a book, but only a place for me to list and define the tags I use to categorize what I've read.
