- My interests are there...action mysteries, railroad history, informational books, and Smiley's People...I like historical fiction such as Bernard Cornwell's stories of Uhtred, (son of Uhtred, whose father was also named Uhtred), and the WWII spy novels of Phillip Kerr and Alan Furst, who I consider tops in his field. More cookbooks than anyone could ever muddle through. I'm continuing to add to those collections.
