Quant a miI've been reading LibraryThing chat forums for a long time now and have bought and read some very interesting books from the conversations and recommendations on it. So many in fact that I finally decided to join myself and to try and follow some of the challenges if for no other reason than to keep track of what I do read. One of the worst things I find is I read a book and after a couple of years can remember no more about it than I read it.
I hope to be able to add reviews of books I read from now on here to try and stop this memory-deficient problem and as I go along to add books from my library onto here as well based on the proviso than not only have I read them but that I can remember them!

Quant a
la meva bibliotecaI'm a sucker for weekly / fortnightly collections as I find it's a good way to get books I wouldn't normally buy, so I have a quite varied collection of fiction, from The Great Writer's collection of authors over the last 400 years to the Banned Books collection published recently by a newspaper which are mainly 20th century writers.
I'm also very interested in History and historical figures so have a lot of biographies I have yet to get around to reading. I'm hoping that by using the idea of reading so many books per year from several different categories I can get through more than just my usual mix of crime or sci-fi I tend to read.
I've joined the 11 in 11 challenge, I think that the categories of books I've chosen there tell you more about my library than I could say here and I look forward to talking to people who have read books I am reading or have read and sharing ideas and opinions on them.
