la meva biblioteca"What's the use of a book without pictures and conversations?"
One of my favorite places is the New York City Library picture library. That's what I'm looking for most of the time anyway- pictures for research. The tags are set up to help that research. All books in the design office are tagged "reference". All magazines and pamphlets are tagged "ephemora". All "how-to" books or books which illustrate step by step instructions are tagged "technique". There are date tags when the book deals primarily with a certain period style (1980's etc.) I try to list tags from the general (Ornament) to the specific (Louis XIV).
