Book tastes

I like fantasy, cozy mysteries, mythology. Lately, I've been reading some manga amongst my rereads this year. I especially love Sailor Moon and Percy Jackson. I honestly would love to read more mythologies from other cultures.

Don't get this!

Sequels, non-fiction, horror/thrillers.

NB_Knight: The Rick Riordan Presents books might be of interest. (des. 4, 2023, 1:14pm)
DestDest: This Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi. Shoujo rec: Ao Haru Ride vol 1 or Strobe Edge vol 1 (nov. 28, 2023, 8:44pm)
AurumCalendula: Spirits Abroad by Zen Cho

Fireheart Tiger by Aliette de Bodard

(nov. 27, 2023, 1:44pm)
saroz: I'm assuming "more mythologies" means non-Greek/Roman. Neil Gaiman does an excellent retelling of Norse Mythology (that's the title). If you like fantasy, I would consider Susan Collins' The Dark is Rising, which invokes British mythology (and is the central book of a five-book series). (nov. 25, 2023, 6:33pm)
KallieGrace: Sistersong is a great British mythology story that feels like light fantasy

Daughter of the Moon Goddess is Chinese mythology

These are more YA but may still be enjoyed: The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea (Korean mythology) and The Wrath and the Dawn (Arabic mythology) (nov. 21, 2023, 5:15pm)
