Alpha male hero (for a book club read)

hi there, I have been tasked with finding a romance book (any genre) with a strong alpha hero.
Any suggestions most welcome!

Beauvallet or Devil's Cub by Georgette Heyer (16thC and Georgian romances)

The Defiant Hero or Gone too Far by Suzanne Brockmann (contemporary military romance with quite a lot of sex too)

Shards of Honor or A Civil Campaign by Lois McMaster Bujold (space opera: the couple in Shards are parents of the (disabled) hero in Campaign)

Son of the Morning by Linda Howard (time travel)

Mind you, pretty much every Mills & Boon has an 'alpha' hero...

Isn't the obvious one Rhett Butler from Gone With the Wind?
