looking for a book to buy

I have looked everywhere for this book, it seems to be unavailable unless your a lawyer or judge with access to the law libraries. It is call The law of contract in Canada 5 th ed by G H L Fridman. Please contact me if you know how to obtain it

Probably not. Law books are not cheap, and one generally needs the most recent edition, so used copies are rarely an option.

"{O}ne generally needs the most recent edition": It really depends on what you're doing with it. If you're using it as *the* reference, sure; but if you're using it to get a groundwork, you can find relevant cases & then shepherdize.

Anyway, ebay & amazon & other used book retailers often have old law books on them. (Especially casebooks.)
