'siyo folks!

What (dis)ability books, zines, films, etc have been and are important to folks? Have to say that william maria rain's and Colin Kennedy Donovan's zines have been very important to my own process of engaging with radical (dis)ability movements and communities. Linda Hogan's Solar Storms and Chrystos's poety have both been really important to me in forming a Native (dis)ability analysis. I'm curious about what other folks have to say.

Writing as a way of healing has been a really influential book for me. I have a completely dog-eared copy that I won't lend to anybody :)

I find the forms of prejudice targeted at PWDs important to revisit from time to time. A good list can be found in

Smart J., (2001). Disability, Society, and the Individual. Logan, Utah: Aspen Publishing.
