Seconded, I just found it and found it was dormant...

Come up with something to talk about then! :D

I just acquired a used SF paperback (The Ruby Dice) because the back cover copy sounded incredibly slashy, even though the book itself probably isn't. Anybody else ever do that!

I have a great appreciation of most things slash.

I'm afraid I'm enough of a gutterbrain to think "slash" any time there are two male leads. I've only been into it for a little while though, so I'm still reading the staples... Everything from The Picture of Dorian Gray to Wicked Gentlemen to Havemercy and beyond. Any suggestions?

FFortuna,

What about Lord of the White Hell Book #1 by Ginn Hale who also wrote Wicked Gentlemen.

You mentioned staples, have you tried Swordspoint by Ellen Kushner and Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling?

I have Havemercy in my TBR. Good? I see there are several in the series.

I love Swordspoint, I'm about to start the rest of the series. Luck in the Shadows is on my wishlist.

I love Havemercy, too. I actually think it's a lot like Swordspoint, only with more fantasy elements and more of a modern attitude. There's the same kind of period feel to it. I've also read the first sequel, and it's not quite as good (also not overtly slashy) but stil a lot of fun.

I've got some others in my TBR, but the one I'm most looking forward to is Mordred, Bastard Son...

FFortuna, I am guessing you favor fantasy? I read a lot more paranormal, but two I have liked are The Darkling Thrush and The Druid Stone. The latter starts out as paranormal, but it moves into realms that feel more like fantasy, at least to me.
