Any good thrillers or horror novels lately? I can't seem to find another good author after Michael Crichton and Stephen King. Help?

I have read a few Peter Straub's, good choice. I'll check on the others.

The horror group is Thingamabrarians that Go Bump in the Night. It has some good recommendation threads.
