She wakes up and only when she looks in the mirror does she realize she is 20 years older. The rest of the day her husband reminds her about all aspects of her life and every morning she has to do it all over again. Her (secret) therapist helps her recover some memories and she slowly starts to put things together about what happened to her and the truth about her life. Her husband is not her husband but her attacker! Name that book, please.

Before I Go To Sleep, by S.J. Watson sounds right. (Although I haven't read it, so may be wrong! :)

That's it! Thank you so much, wookiebender. It was making me nuts not to be able to remember the title of that book about memory. ; )

>2 wookiebender: I've read Before I Go to Sleep, and this sounds like the book that's being described-- plot points mentioned definitely all match up.

A kind thought, but as far as I can tell, most of the members and regular readers of this particular group are about as far opposite of "anti-spoilers" as it's possible to be.

I saw this on a message board, and thought it appropriate: "when you go to the amusement park, you can SEE where all the turns and twists are on the roller-coaster, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable to actually ride."
