CAN YOU BELIVE THAT I DID THAT!
I got off the subway in front of Yankee Stadium and immediately realized that both my "Official" Towel Day Big Black Bath Towel and my Little Yankee Golf Towel were still sitting on my bed!!!

So...
I went into a little souvenir shop and bought a little Yankee hand Towel!
BOY was I glad to have it! It was so humid doing tours that I was constantly mopping my sweaty head, LOL! I'm gonna carry one all summer, what did I do without one!???
After work I went home and got my "Official" Towel Day Towel and returned to the Stadium to watch the Yankees get DESTROYED by the Vogons, I mean the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Silly mistake, Vogons Destructor Ships are Bright Yellow, will LAAofA wear Bright Red).
So I at least had it for the game!

I didn't know about towel day, but I'll try to do it this year now that I know. Why May 25th especially? What is the significance? He died on May 11th... Does anyone know?
Incidentally, even though I didn't know about towel day, I did go as an interstellar hitchhiker for Halloween. I just dressed normally and carried a copy of the Guide in my pocket and my towel slung over my shoulder. :)
