Watch a movie that is the first in a series or franchise
RULES:
You can watch movies you own, on cable/satellite TV, from a rental service such as Netflix, from your library, online or in the theater.
Miniseries and made for TV movies are acceptable but episodes of a TV series are not.
Documentaries are allowed.
"Shorts" are not allowed (i.e. less than 30 minutes.)
Movies do NOT need to be based on books.

Not so far this year, Morph. We did watch the entire Harry Potter series starting in November and ending in December though. It was a great way to do it!

War Horse was excellent but definitely a 5-hanky movie! I haven't read the book and probably won't now that I know what a tear-jerker it is. Beautiful cinematography which should garner an Oscar nomination.
