Very late to the game here...

Kafka strikes me as almost certainly being an INFP. Musil's inability to conclude his grand project (which is constructed to avoid authorial decision) suggests a possible ENTP profile to me.

Sebald seems viable. I can't imagine Jane Austen not being an INTJ. Other possibles:

Thomas Bernhard
Ford Madox Ford
Thomas Hardy
Joris-Karl Huysmans
Haruki Murakami
Georges Perec
Fernando Pessoa
Virginia Woolf

Pessoa and Perec possibly INTPs?

Another potential INTJ is Gracq.

I could easily see Pessoa as an INTP. While the extensive lists in 'Life a Users Manuel' may suggest a more 'P' orientation, that they are actually puzzles in and of themselves, and taking account of the tradition of "naturalism" in French literature, gives me enough reason to consider the 'J' potential. I've only read three of his books and know just the bare bones of his biography, so I wouldn't feel terribly confident making a definitive judgment on Perec as of yet. You may well be right.

Gracq is still on my TBR list (I'll pen in an asterisk.)
