Hello all...
I have to buy a birthday present for a friend of mine. She is a big Oscar Wilde fan... Does anyone know of any nice fine press editions of anything by Wilde? She already has the Bowler Press edition of Earnest. Oh and price isnt really a concern.

Price is always something of a concern. Otherwise, you might look at the highest priced Oscar Wilde items on the used.AddAll.com search engine of books in the used book databases. At the top of the list I see a scarce signed (by Wilde) limited edition of his Poems at nearly US$20,000. There are also limited but not signed sets of his works.
When looking at used book listings from booksellers like these, from a condition perspective, you will be happier with "very good" (7/10 or 8/10) and "fine" (9/10 or 10/10) condition descriptions.
You asked about "fine press editions" and I think I know what you mean by this. Often times these will be limited so it may be well to add "limited" to the keyword field of the AddALL search. Since people usually take very good care of limited editions, they should almost universally be in top condition.
One thing that is disappointing is that few sellers include photos of even their highest-priced listings. By contrast, on eBay and Bonanza.com images of the item are the norm.
I don't collect Wilde so don't keep up with all of the great editions which may have been issued in the past 125 years or so.

How about purchasing a membership for her in the Oscar Wilde Society?
She will receive two different periodicals concerning Wilde:

To consider for her birthday in 2014: The Picture of Dorian Gray in the Familiars Series published by Four Corners. Flimsy, but fascinating approach and design. For anyone interested in the tangential-to-Wilde, 4 Dada Suicides contains a fair bit by and about his wife's wonderful nephew--and I think that there's a biography out there of his own quite wonderful niece Dolly as well.
I doubt though that I would have bothered posting that except that I chanced upon this group and would like by posting to help keep it alive, (though because activity isn't shown in date order perhaps it's lively rather than moribund in some thread I've not seen) . . .
