I'm thinking of a word that rhymes with "medical".
setting this topic in honor of a figure, a work about whom I've translated.
(Not to mislead you: the figure about whom I translated
a work wasn't in the field of medicine.)

Was your figure an arachnologist? Such a person would know the name of the connection between the cephalothorax and abdomen in some arachnids.

I'm not sure what the guess is, but the Crambo! Word is an adjective not a noun. And I might as well admit that it ends in "-A L". But there's more to the rhyme than that.
The figure that it means "pertaining to" or "like the case of. . ." never heard of arachnology, but he could probably dope out the meaning of that word; he had the right language for it.

Some say these type of people have complex problems, but long as they love their mothers ...

They say you should never "Second-guess",
But the 2nd guess here (4) was correct, (unless
It was something other than"oedipal",
But why would it be such at all?)
At least I made all 3 syllables rhyme: Aha!
Though the middle one was little more than a shwa.
Hence, some pedantic rhyming-fun.
Still don't know what that first (2) one
Was, but "oedipal" (4) carries us through,
rodneyvc, and passes the
game to you.

#5 Yes - I was suggesting 'oedipal'. I'll start a new round once I've been able to put my thinking cap on!
