Getting rid of Australian Women's Weekly cookbooks in Vienna

I guess the title says it all. I haven't been using them, so if someone near here wants them ... First choice will go to anyone who can come and sort through them with me. I might also be willing to mail inside the EU. (That's Vienna, Austria.)

Yes, if we drive to England, Belgium is usually lunch on the second day. I'll see that you see a list of what is up for offer after sorting.

Yay list! :D How long does that drive take you? We flew when we went to Vienna a couple years back, though my preferred travel method is always by train when possible.

We try to set out by late morning, and spend the first night at Geiselwind where there is a nice truckers hotel with a variety of fast food places and very nice butcher's restaurant. This is about 6 hours from Vienna during the week, and we use it both directions if at all possible.

Up on the road early, we are usually in Belgium for noon, then try to cross that evening to stay in Folkestone, which works if we have a reservation. That's the longer drive, but we also sometimes decide to visit a city in Germany for a night or two.

I can more or less make myself understood in French if I have to, but neither I or the French-speaking person is going to enjoy it.

At your age we made it in less time.

LOL @ the French. Is there a particular part of Belgium you usually stop in? So long as you're in Flanders speaking English shouldn't be an issue. Everyone here, young and old and in-between, all speak English; we'll be at a store and people in line, or the cashier, will hear us talking and automatically address us in English, haha.

That sounds like a nice little trip, in any case. I've always loved roadtrips! :))
