Lindisfarne

Any tips on (good) history books dealing with the arrival of the Vikings on the East coast, Lindisfarne? And, if possible tips on historical fiction on the same topic?

I'm hoping someone with more expertise chimes in but I bought - but haven't read - A History of the Vikings by Gwyn Jones as I was told it was the best overview out there. But it doesn't just cover their arrival but the whole Viking period. Another book I have but haven't read is The Viking Age: A Reader. This also covers the entire period and has selections from primary sources which I always enjoy.
