-15- From: Books off My Own Shelves - - "Everything I Own" – Bread

I’ve chosen 15 categories for 2015, and am aiming for five books per category = 75 book goal. Everything over that is just frosting on the cake!
Each book counts for only 1 category, though it may fit several, and I do reserve the right to rearrange.

The 75 Book Challenge is where I spend most of my time, and where I talk about my books. I will use this thread, as I do in the various other challenge groups in which I participate, just to summarize my pertinent reads for this challenge.

Although I’ve participated in the group CATs for several years, this is my first time to do my own personal category challenge. If my husband decides to retire in the next few years, I shan’t have time for any extra “messing around” with this type of thing, so this will probably be my first and last year to participate in the make-my-own categories part of the Category Challenge.

The hit songs idea I’ve shamelessly borrowed from others who’ve done something similar - lindapanzo, Roro8, and thornton37814, to name a few. I really like _Zoe_'s categories for pure simplicity, and may decide to go a similar route in the future, if I get to have another go-round.

What great songs - and clever categories. Love the planning you've done to make sure all the CATs and BingoDOG are covered, and still fit into the rest of the challenge. Very nice!

Since you said your full reviews will be on your 75 Books thread, will you post a link to that after you get it set up?

I love your categories! I'm doing a music challenge this year too, but I didn't think of choosing songs all from the same year. "Everything I Own" is one of my favorite songs! I thought about using "Rocket Man" for my SFFFCAT books but I ended up going with "Fantasy" by Earth, Wind & Fire.

Even though I would have been a bit too young to remember any of the songs when they first came out, I had older brothers with amazing record collections so I am happy to say that I recognize a number of the songs chosen for your categories! I am going to enjoy following your challenge.
