A cashier at Michael's said that if I liked Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, I should read this book. But now I can't remember what he said.

I think he said Seraph or Seraphim was in the title.

He said the author's last name was Camou (Kam-oo), but when I search the spelling Camou I don't find it. It was a male author.

He said it was about death.

I'm not positive that the genre is dystopian. It's just a guess because we were talking about Brave New World.

Thanks in advance to those who may solve my puzzle.

Maybe something by Albert Camus? But I can't see how anything of his would fit into the contemporary dystopian framework.

One of the books recommended for BNW is The Plague by Albert Camus. I would certainly think that he is your author. He's French, so the pronunciation is Cam oo.

Maybe he was talking about something by Albert Camus? His name is pronounced ka-MOO. As for the work, it might be The Myth of Sisyphus.
