Yesterday Oliver, my little nephlet had his 7th birthday party. Can you believe it? And little Owen will be 4 in 2 weeks. Shocking. Their mom goes all out and mad a nice Star Wars party for him. Owen wants a snowflake party. lol.

So, another Sunday, sheesh! Time flies when you're having fun.

Dan is sick, literally lying in his chair moaning ( day 2) with a sinus infection. So I'm making a pot of chicken soup. I had to go out and get chicken this morning, picked up a paper for him, handed it over with a cup of tea. Hasn't thought to say thank you to me yet. Bless his heart.

Reading? A fantastic book Bohemian Gospel and loving it.

I sort of feel like that last betrayal was crushing. Furkids are well. Lola seems to have some sort of winter skin issues, but I believe I have found the magic formula to help, so that's good. I am currently reading one of way too many Vine books! It's called Firstlife and it's really pretty good! YA and pretty formulaic, but a very unique ( imo) plot. I was feeling pretty unwell for a lot of the summer and fall, but doing better now. One of my sons was just home for most of a week, as he had meetings in the tri state area. That was nice. Kimmy, I just feel kinda done, you know? I miss people here too, but I just feel like I used up all of my reserves a while back, and they aren't coming back.

I recently read a book, Never Haunt a Historian by Edie Claire. I'd never read any by her before. When I looked at her author page, I think it indicated that you had more of her books cataloged than anyone else on LT. (I liked the book.)

He's named after my cat...there was a snap fb question and I saw it first. So...voila'. She has 2 stand alones that are really good. Hug Sig for me :)

Kath, I think you can take some credit for Sig's happy home. You helped increase my animal awareness with your posts. I'm not sure I would have had the nerve to insist on bringing the critter in out of the cold into the house otherwise. And you gave some good advice to get us off to a good start.

Sig has started sleeping on the blanket-covered trunk at the foot of our bed in recent nights. I find his presence there rather cozy.

I read another of Edie Claire's books, the first installment of the Leigh Koslow series, Never Buried. I really enjoyed it.

I had some big news today.....

My daughter is going to make me a grandma!!! I am beyond excited! I was resigned to this never, ever happening. The baby is due one day after her own birthday in November! YaaaaaY!

I can't seem to concentrate on anything since I found out this morning......
