Most of the challenge groups leave the year out of the name, so that each year people just start new threads, instead of starting a new group each year. Maybe it would be easier to do that here, too, so there isn't a new group to join each year?

That seems a strange statement when the top 6 active groups are challenge groups with the year in the name.

Really? I guess I don't pay enough attention. I see the 50 books challenge, Newbery, 1001 Books Before You Die, and other various challenges don't include the year. It seems like it's easier to get people to start another thread, than get everyone to join another group.

It makes sense for the huge groups to make new ones every year, but for those with less participants, it's pretty redundant to make new groups every year.

I prefer a new group every year. Why? Because members don't pay attention and they revive a thread that is 2 years old!

>5 Tess_W:, what? Pfffft - that never happens. Four years, maybe.
