No, we are not really interested in knowing what you are reading.

This month we will exchange some recipes of organic food.

Enjoyed Brian Woods' Demo. Now I'm reading a 50s noir called Hit by Bryce Carlson.

Still looking for organic food recipes. :-)

I just finished Rat Queens Volume 3, I was a little disappointed, but will give vol. 4 a shot when it comes out.

>7 davisfamily: Too bad. I liked the first two a lot.

I read Rutu Modan's The Property, which was good, and Descender, the new sci-fi Jeff Lemire. I liked the story of Descender, but wasn't sold on Dustin Nguyen's illustrations for it. It's the start of a series.

Just read The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, which had great art and a seriously undercooked story, and am now finishing out the Lucifer series, which I love and regret that it took me a decade to get around to it.

>8 jnwelch: Nguyen's art was what made me want to read Descender (well, and robots); I'd never read Lemire before, although I've been meaning to read Essex County for some time. I liked it and will read more eventually, but I'm not fussed if it takes awhile. The Property was one of my favorite graphic novels I read last year, though; I have to find some more of Motan's stuff.

>9 Euryale: I wanted to like Descender's illustrations, but they just didn't work well for me. I've read a lot of Lemire, and I'm used to more concrete, realistic illustrations for him. I think you'll like Essex County.

Glad The Property was a favorite; Exit Wounds is really good, too.

I've finished Alan Moore's run on Miracleman and started Neil Gaiman's.
It is incredible how "the original writer" builds the story, which (IMHO) parallels the history of comics, with a golden, silver and dark age. Olympus is a masterpiece in storytelling.
On Gaiman's side, the Andy Warhol's story is designed for multiple readings.

The Sleeper Omnibus, another team-up by Brubaker and Sean Phillips, was dark and twisty and good.

Glad someone else here has read that AM Miracleman run. My favorite read last year, comics or otherwise.

Truly great. Now I have Voice of the Fire staring at me from the shelf. I must pick it before it attacks me.

Voice of the Fire

Great book. I'd be flattered if you took a moment to check out the following before getting started on it:
