Which Christmas album was the best ever in your opinion?

For me it was Looney Tunes Christmas, which I loved as a kid... but you might disagree.

Name your best ever Christmas album and vote for it in our debate!

The only Christmas music I can stomach is Trans-Siberian Orchestra, so I'm going to say Christmas Eve and Other Stories.

That said, I used to really enjoy A Very Special Christmas, which was a bunch of 80-90s-ish pop renditions of Christmas songs.

A friend gave me a Naxos recording many years ago: The Mystery of Christmas by The Elora Festival Singers, "a professional chamber choir founded in 1980 as the principal ensemble for the Elora Festival, a month-long celebration of choral and vocal arts held in Elora, Ontario." This disc contains some of the most glorious Christmas choral music I have ever heard and I listen to it with pleasure, not only during the holidays, but any time I feel like I need to be replenished!
