I've just started reading this book and I have to say I've been very impressed so far. It's very well written and has kept my attention to the detriment of my work! I look forward to reading the rest of this story as well some of his other titles. Well done, Jacob!

I was actually kind of bored at the beginning but it warms up along the way and before you know it, you are engaged and want to know what other developments the character will go through, the same way that one can be horrified yet fascinated with a car accident.

I received this book a few days ago. The characters are well written and the story line kept my attention. With patriotic pride being in the new so much today I wasn't surprised when the protagonist was given such a hard time for not standing during "God Bless America". I enjoyed the first half a little more than the second but overall it was a strong read and I recommend it (as long as you don't mind quite a few cuss words)
