I received an ARC of this book. Its full title is: Fighting Fake News: Teaching Critical Thinking and Media Literacy in a Digital Age, Locate, Evaluate Synthesize Information. This book is aimed at school librarians and teachers of grades 4-6. The chapters cover identifying questions, locating information, evaluating information (using the CRAAP test), synthesizing information (which the author admits is really for far more advanced students), and communicating information. At the end of each chapter are activities.

This is a timely topic and I think it's always important to teach these skills but I found the activities to be rather simple and I'm not convinced that they really would help to teach critical thinking skills. Admittedly, I am a librarian who teaches information literacy skills but to an older audience (college students).
