On the John Gaskin disambiguation page http://www.librarything.com/author/gaskinjohn I assigned Strange Tales III and IV to John #2, clicked save, and nada. I refreshed the page, went back and did it again. Both volumes remain unassigned.

Sorry for the trouble—we had a server issue that should now be fixed! Try again and let me know if it's still failing?
ETA: I jumped the gun a bit, here. Any edits you made should come through, the database just needs some time to catch up!

Thanks for the note.
For devs, to reproduce:

2. Click "edit the division" in the Advanced side menu. https://www.librarything.com/author_split.php?author=thomasroy&page=assign
3. Find Conan the Barbarian, King-Size Annual! No. 2, Conan the Barbarian, King-Size Annual! No. 3 and Conan the Barbarian, King-Size Annual! No. 4 works on the list and assign as division "1".

Bump. Also happening for Richard Wagner, reported at https://www.librarything.com/topic/334950.

Likewise with Ordnance Survey https://www.librarything.com/author/surveyordnance

We're looking at increasing the field maximum; it's set to 1,000.

I've had someone emailing in to describe this same issue, which the member had when trying to edit the division on the Stephen King disambiguation page.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to the author page for Stephen King:
https://www.librarything.com/author/kingstephen
2. Click "edit the division" in the Advanced side menu. https://www.librarything.com/author_split.php?author=kingstephen&page=assign
3. Find "The Do-It Yourself Bestseller" in the list of "Stephen King (unknown)" titles and change it to "Stephen King (1)."
4. Scroll down the page and click to "Save page"
5. You will be taken to a blank page: https://www.librarything.com/author_split_submit.php.
6. The change will not have been saved, and the book will not appear under "Stephen King (1)."
I will let the member know we are working on this.

Still not fixed for Ordnance Survey. 106 works unassigned. Will happily work on them if this bug is ever fixed.

Another month gone, and still not fixed.

I just ran into this for the firs time here, so I am adding my voice to the report: https://www.librarything.com/author_split.php?author=thomasroy&page=assign

Is anything going to be done about this or should we just give up?
15kristilabrie
I will remind timspalding about this today, sorry for the wait.

We are working on this one.

>20 karenb: // How much do the Ordinance Survey books cost these days?
Back in 2017 +/- a year of so, we were going to buy 1 and found out it was more expensive than a Garmin with the UK chip (included Scotland) by a lot.
I assume you are referring to individual maps and not the books(?).//

>21 ulmannc: £8.99 for paper map + code to download electronic version. I find paper maps vastly superior for most purposes, and OS vastly superior to pretty much anything else.
