I really enjoyed this book. I'm one of those people that if you don't grab my attention quickly, you will lose me. This book had me right away. While I was a little put off by some occasional typos and missing words (I didn't notice whether it said it was an unedited proof), I was able to get right back into the storyline. One of my favorite things about certain books is when I can picture in my mind the people, the setting and the action the author is describing. This happened for me throughout. There were a couple of eyerolling plot shifts I hadn't seen coming which I wish hadn't been in there, but not being a writer, I don't know how the later action would have worked without these shifts. Overall, a wonderful ride and one I will recommend to friends.
