A BC roundabout book just arrived for me, so one of my goals will be to finish that in the next couple of weeks. I hope to get a few more from my shelves read and registered, especially some that I'm hoping to use in gypsysmom's Canada Days Release Challenge later this year.

Since I’m still reading Moby Dick and will probably not finish it this month, my goal will be to finish at least four smaller books which I can read concurrently with Moby Dick. My other goal is to have a great time at the BookCossing booth at the International Day of the Book street festival in Kensington, Maryland, USA, on April 28th. Can’t wait!

My plan for April is to push on with 1001 challenge - to read 10 books from the list. I am currently on number 3 - Underworld, a snip at 830 pages.
I will also aim for 5 from my TBR pile.

>3 Amaryllys: Good luck with meeting your goal!
>4 SqueakyChu: I hope you have a terrific time at the festival! You'll have to give us a full report.
>5 soffitta1: Wow, I hope the other 9 books from the 1001 list are much shorter than that one! Good luck.

How did everyone do in April?
I didn't manage to read anything from my ABC stack, except for two recent roundabout books that arrived close together. However, I did finish and register a couple more books from my own shelves.

>4 SqueakyChu: The Book Festival was fantastic! We gave away approximately 900 books that day. This is the 14th year in a row that we have participated in the festival

We're looking forward to another book festival in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA later this month.
I finished seven smaller books (but not Moby Dick yet).
The books were:
1. The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming - Lemony Snicket
2. Ground Rules: 100 Easy Lessons for Growing a More Glorious Garden - Kate Frey
3. Love Poems (for Married People) - John Kenney
4. Sombrero Fallout - Richard Brautigan
5. Patriotism - Yukio Mishima
6. Are you Considering Conversion to Judaism? - Rabbi Alan Silverstein
