I have a couple of BC roundabout books heading my way, so as usual, those will have top priority. Then, I hope to finally get another off my ABC stack.

My May goal would be to get to the wishlist books I received for the sweeps and during the convention
Probably starting with
The Girl in the Blue Coat by Monica Hesse https://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/15399225/
Entry Island by Peter May https://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/15427207/
Gunpowder Moon by David Pedreira https://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/15424694/

I want to read at least 6 books - including The Cairo Trilogy as part 2 has been on my pile for a while.
It is an exam month at school so will try for 5 1001 books with an aspirational target of 10.

I'm hoping to get through 4 TBR books in May and since I'll be travelling I hope that is achievable. I'll let you know.

How is everyone doing, with a week left to go in May? I'm hoping to finish one of my roundabout books before the end of the month and then I plan to start the next right after.

In May I read 6 from my TBR pile and 6 1001 books.
I read 2 of The Cairo Trilogy, I really enjoyed seeing behind the closed doors in Egypt.

Well I didn't quite make the goal but I came so close that I'm claiming victory. I read 3 of the TBR books in May and finished the fourth on June 1.

>7 soffitta1: I had to add The Cairo Trilogy to my wishlist. Sounds really good.

>8 gypsysmom: Yes, you definitely should claim victory. Well done!
