>19 Carol420: Thanks, Carol. I can't claim to know every photo by sight but once I get the trend, the search for actual titles goes pretty quick.

At my first glance at the third photo in >15 .cris:, my thought was, "Now which movie did Angelina Jolie and Kevin Spacey do together?" Then I looked closer and realized it was Cameron Diaz and John Cusack from Being John Malkovich. LOL!!

After that realization, John, Paul & George led me to think of The Beatles, so finding the Richard III reference wasn't too difficult, (Ringo Starr's birth name is Richard Starkey).

I've obviously stumped ScoLgo on this one. Does anyone know any of the films? If not, I'll repost with more obvious stills.

40Carol420
Editat: gen. 8, 2020, 7:10 am

I could be wrong...probably am...but I think the first one is from "Diamonds Are Forever" and the 3rd one might be from "Sapphire". The fourth one looks like Jack the monkey from "Pirates of the Caribbean". No idea about the second one. As I said I am very likely wrong.

Pirate treasure???: "Diamonds Are Forever (diamonds); "A Price Above Rubies" (Rubies) (That may not have been the title but it had something to do with rubies.) "Sapphire" (sapphires); "Pirates of The Caribbean" (pirates).

Okay I believe I have sprained my brain:)

I'm not sure about #3 - I think it's Peter Mullan (The Scotsman) - Scotland
#1 Is Tom Cruise (Rainman) Rain
#2 Olivia deHavilland - (Gone With The Wind) - Wind
#4 Snow White (snow)
So...Weather in Scotland - Wind, rain & snow???? If it isn't...IT SHOULD BE!!!

51.cris
gen. 8, 2020, 3:41 pm

>50 Carol420: 3 out of 4. It IS Peter Mullen. He IS a Scotsman. It’s title IS set in Scotland. But wrong film.

52Carol420
gen. 9, 2020, 6:20 am

>51 .cris: If I stick with the weather theme. Peter Mullen was in "On A Clear Day" ...although rain and snow would be anything BUT clear. He also had one entitled Sunshine on something. Can't remember what the rest of it was...but it would fit with rain, wind and snow. So I'll see if I can find the rest of the movie title and be right back.

But we do have a plant, (species unknown), that, despite our best efforts at killing it, has been alive our entire marriage, (33 years!). Every now & then I remember to pour a cup of water into it. Othe'n that, it seems to thrive by simply looking out the south-facing window where it resides.
