Whoot!!!!

I snagged my third book in three months and this month I'm going for non-fiction (I know, soooo not my style) but I couldn't resest a book called "A Stingray Bit My Nipple! True Stories From Real Travelers" by Erik Torkells. I've been traveling to meet so many B&Cer's lately that I shoud be prepared for anything.

Ouch! I just cringed :)

Who have you traveled to meet? I actually met up with Nifty a week ago :) I had a conference in her town and we had a very nice time at dinner.

I've just got to get her to come to Cincinnati...I'll take her on a tour of Over the Rhine, lol. Or how about the subway? Ha ha ha.

Ya know if I came to Cincie we can meet Ronin too LOL!!! Name the date and I'll meet up with ya'll. I've met members of three different boards that I post/used to post on.

Booklover will be traveling to CT to see me in a couple of weeks

Oh gosh - I've met Booklover, Mhari, Blueyedbookworm, GeneF, MarinsMuse, Simply Sunshine, to name a just few. I've met a ton more from the LKH board and I would like to wipe THAT experience out of my head with brain brillo!!! LOL.

Brain brillo? OMG sounds painful. Hah, I'm always around except a few days in April and October. We could take Ronin down in the subway, lol and give him the tour.

I thought that Ronin was from Cincie too, he isn't. He's from Columbus. So when do you want me to come out *grin*

Brain-Brillo - yea a lot of the people I did meet from that board just weren't the nice people I thought they would be...on the other hand, some were really wonderful and I count them among my best of friends!

Oh you have to come in the summer when it's good and hot. I can drag you all over the place....grins....

So you're going out of your way to try and make me pee my pants while simultaneouly trying to kill me off with the heat???*grin* (remember I am a chubby person, with a heart issue!!!) anyhoodles, it won't work. Don;t be surprised to see me. Is there anything around that my hubby would like, any kind of sports arena or baseball stadium???

Oh, he's in luck...we have the loser Bengals in the fall and the loser Reds in the summer, lol. There are river boat clubs on the KY side of the river...all kinds of cool things on the Newport Levy...a huge aquarium, places to eat, shops - just clean out your bank account first. There are casinos in IN if you like that...sounds like a night in hell to me....but a lot of people like to go there. There's the zoo...a fancy botanical place and artsie fartsie places.

*snicker* you make it all sound so magical and enchanting -I just want to run right now and book myself on the first flight out there.l

Ah ha! I've got it. We should time it with JR Ward's next book signing...she ALWAYS comes to Cincinnati. Her next book is out in June...so that's when she'll show up. We could do the signing and let our hubbies wander around the bookstore like lost souls...he he he

That sounds fun. We'll have to watch for her schedule and coordinate with it. Claps hands with glee. Warning...."interesting" people show up at her signings....LOL....I have seen some strange things there.

I just snagged another book on here. The Addict by Michael Stein. I can't wait to get it so I can start reading it.
