Amazon does change cover images without warning.
Why not include a statement on the change cover page that says that will occur. Recommend they use a member uploaded cover or upload their own.

Not a bad idea, but it won't solve the problem entirely. Most people aren't getting the Amazon cover because they're changing the cover. They get it by default.

When I think about it, I change Amazon covers to one here on LT. Now that most of my "books" are kindle books, it sometimes has a different cover from anyone else. In that case, since I rarely look at the cover on my kindle, I choose an LT cover that I like.
