Good luck to Marcia Fudge. Welcome to Nina Turner.

des. 10, 2020, 1:38pm her new job as HUD secretary. She's going to have a mess to sort out with so many people needing a roof over their heads.

Her departure from the Ohio-11th congressional district leaves the path open to Bernie Sanders campaign manager Nina Turner who is every bit of a firebrand as AOC and frankly I'm looking forward to it.

This is the first I've heard about the appointment. (Thank you!) While Marcia Fudge appears nowhere near the ideal choice, she's unsurprisingly nowhere near as terrible as Ben Carson. May she work well, and quickly, with Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith, the equity task force chair on Biden's COVID-19 team.

I've also looked up Nina Turner, who doesn't seem at a glance comparable to AOC but worth watching.

I figure this is a good time to go over the president-elect's Housing campaign promises.

#2--FWIW I would expect Nina to run as a Justice Democrat. She has been running Our Revolution pretty much the last 4 or so years and was Bernie Sanders campaign manager. Also not shy--a very outspoken media savvy person and I expect she'll get a lot of $27 contributions from around the country. Someone like her IMO will probably take some of the pressure off of the others like Omar, Tlaib and AOC to be as upfront and center all the time as they've been.

Housing is going to be a major issue though and Fudge should be a huge improvement over Carson.

Fudge. Yep, that's a good name for the Biden crowd.

Yeah, but I that should be chocolate fudge - just for accuracy sake.
