"I sort of felt like, well, now who am I supposed to be? Like, what am I, what am I driving towards?" she said of the days following her Oscar win for "Shakespeare in Love," according to People.
"Being a kid who's like living every breakup on every headline, like being criticized for everything you do say and wear," she said. "And also, it's so transitory, you're always all over. It's hard to plant roots. Like I'm such a homebody, you know me, I like to be with my old friends and cook and squeeze my kids. Like I don't want to be alone in a hotel room in Budapest for six weeks. Like, it's just not who I am."
"If you compound those things with the fact that like, you know, to be totally candid, I had a really rough boss for most of my movie career at Miramax," she said, hinting of her time with Weinstein. "Like, so you take all those things (and) you're like, 'I don't know if this is really my calling.'"

This is always an interesting topic. Too often it's disturbing the way an X-ray of a pickle jar stuck in the anus would be, but it's also interesting.

She is a goof of major proportions, fer sure.
But is she stupid and insane enough to buy into the meme that "tRUMP won"? Probably not. I mean, she is not 100 per cent fucktarded yet, is she? - I'd say more like 99.44 per cent.

>6 aspirit: On further thought, that's unfair.
Bruce Paltrow never had the mainstream notoriety of Donald Trump, and while Ivanka is known for highly suspect international trade deals, Gwyneth has been forthright about being an actress to accrue wealth.
I don't trust either in healthcare, publishing, or (really, anything including) politics, though.

>4 JGL53: When someone gets to that sort of stupid, it kind of stops mattering. I mean, Trump got to the point where him saying something literally did not add any information on the subject apart from the detail that "someone said something about this in his hearing recently". It's hard to identify the exact point where this phase change occurred, but certainly by the whole fiasco about whose inauguration was bigger it was clear that when Trump uttered some proposition, you had literally no more indication of whether that proposition was true than before he said his thing. Zero information, pure noise.
For me, Paltrow has gotten to a similar point - regardless of whether a thing she says is true or false, her saying it doesn't give me any more reason to believe it than her not saying it. So I don't care who she supports politically - there's just no way her views could ever matter to me. I ignore her, like I ignore anyone who produces all noise and no signal.

She's a huge supporter of the Democrats.

- It doesn't mean shit that Paltrow supports Democrats. That doesn't constitute evidence that Democrats as a whole are stupid - such is false logic. Plus, very few people per se are as dumb as G. Paltrow.
OTOH, all republicans are racists. Even the black ones. lol.
