I was talking to him a minute ago. Where did he go? Go ahead and talk and I'll look for him.

Happy New Year to all my special LibraryThing friends. Wishing you 12 months of success, 52 weeks of laughter, 365 days of fun, 8,760 hours of joy, 525,600 minutes of good luck, and 31,536,000 seconds of happiness, and enough good books to fill the Library of Congress ten times over. That's 248,631,770 individual cataloged editions. Guess the place you store your tbr pile will need to be slightly enlarged:)
I saw this on a card that I got from a friend and thought it was perfect for all of my special friends here.

JANUARY 1 - Today is our Sergei's Birthday!!!
Happy Birthday! Hope you have a really great day and do everything that you want to do. Just don’t get arrested :)
Thought I'd send it a little early since it will be January 1 where you are before it is here. Happy Birthday...my friend.

Good riddance to 2020! There's a tv channel that's having a good riddance to 2020 marathon showing old sitcoms where people are saying good bye and get out of here in various ways. The commercial was amusing.
Happy New Year to everyone! Here's to many good things and lots of normal things to everyone in 2021!
>2 Carol420: Love the message and all the numbers.

Please accept my apologies everyone for not being here for weeks. I didn't even get to finish C.S. Harris's book either.
I had a very sad ending to 2020, as my husband died of a heart attack, on the night of October 24, and for months, I didn't feel like doing very much of anything. It was hard to get used to being alone, but with the help of my family, I have made it through. I have started reading again, so that is one joy, and love that I have reclaimed. I wish you all a much deserved 2021, and to better times ahead.

>11 deaflower: OMG... I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know how much I feel for you. Take care of yourself....you don't owe any of us apologies. Glad to have you back.

Welcome back >11 deaflower:. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. Glad to hear that your family helped you get through and that you're reading again.

LT messing with their layout... Again... It's doing my head in...!!!!😳

>18 Sergeirocks: I can't say I really care for this. i liked having the ones I wasn't using below and out of the way (in the pink zone). This makes it look like they are part of current topics. The touchstones are easier to read from the last format change. I used to nearly go blind trying to find the right one before the change before this one. Oh well...it's free so guess I can't complain too loud:)

>19 Carol420: I had my threads clutter-free too - now it just feels overwhelming.

>19 Carol420: you can still ignore the inactive threads - just click on the X on the right side of the topic and they drop down below your active ones
Also, you can change the font size and style if one is easier for you to read (ie serif vs non-serif)

>21 bhabeck: I'm getting used to it. It's just my "it's got to be perfect and absolutely right" attitude:)
