Help me find this book

I'm looking for a name of a book I don't remember the title. What I remember is the heroine mistakenly thinks the hero hurt her roommate but was wrong. The hero then immediately dislikes the heroine. The heroine works in a diner to support herself and the hero is actually kind of a bully to her but they still have an intense attraction. It's a sports college romance I think.
