What do you think? Is this group dead? I didn't see any posts for August at all. This was once a very active group. What happened? How do we wake it up?

I's summer break. LT in general is always much quieter despite it not having a particularly student-heavy customer base, everyone still takes holidays. LShelby is always a key driver for threads and has a life outside of LT (shocking I know).

I just found the group, so hi!
It's true that book sales typically drop through the summer because people are out doing summer stuff, so I imagine that would hold true of online book forums too.

Not dead, just quiet. "I don't want to go on the cart!"

"Well, it just so happens your ~forum~ here is only *mostly* dead."

It's my fault, I had a serious attack of real life, and things always get quiet when I'm not around. I will do my best to to make things livelier, but besides being behind here I am also behind on everything else, so it may take me a bit.

It may have gotten a bit quieter than before again, but it looks like it has still been livelier than I have been.
I caught Covid sometime between Christmas and New Year's (I'm a bit fuzzy on the details at this point) and I ended up doing nothing but watch TV for nearly three months. :(
Hopefully I am recovered enough to start getting caught up again.

Me too. Especially since I have done NO writing since then. Grrrrr!
Not that I'm actually supposed to be writing right now anyway. Since I finished the silly asian-drama-style script I was working on --I already have plans to totally rewrite the ending, but that's a different matter-- I am supposed to be doing copy-edits. I do NOT need additional excuses to procrastinate on that, I'm already way too good at putting off anything resembling copy-editing.
The current plan is to get as caught up as I can on LibraryThing this week, and then get back to those loooooong overdue copyedits next week. When the copy-edits are done, maybe then I can allow myself to work on book 4 of the EFP epic, unwillingly set aside at ~30K words three years ago. (When I split my hero and heroine up at the beginning of book three, I didn't expect it to take this long to get them back together.)
I am very curious as to what everyone else has been up to in the meantime. Allow me to remind everyone of the existence of the
