Please join us on Saturday, September 4 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for a cataloging flash mob in Fort Worth, Texas! First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church has a small volunteer-run lending library – approximately 2,500 items (primarily books) – which we are inputting to LibraryThing in order to use TinyCat’s circulation system.

Participants will need to provide their own laptop, tablet, or smartphone. (Remember to bring your charger, too. 😊)

Some volunteers have started on the project, but we need more help. With your assistance, we could accomplish much in one day. Books not already entered need to be scanned or looked up to add to LibraryThing, the cover and call number confirmed and barcode added -- so a few minutes time needed per each book.

Volunteers are invited to come and go any time between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You do not need to commit to the entire day. VOLUNTEERS ARE ASKED TO PLEASE RSVP to event coordinator Adrienne Clay (fjuuc.acc2021@gmail.com) BY WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 with approximate times you are available to attend so that we know how many volunteers to expect.

First Jefferson UUC is located at 1959 Sandy Ln, Fort Worth, TX 76112.

If you have any questions, please contact Adrienne Clay (fjuuc.acc2021@gmail.com).
