It's short for "alumnus". Although this generally means a graduate of an educational institution, it can also refer to someone who was formerly connected to an organization. So an ER Alum is an author whose book was formerly offered as part of the ER program.

Alumnus, maybe? Someone who has previously had a book offered via LTER? (ninja'ed)

As in:
LibraryThing Early Reviewers Alum
Remy Apepp's book Sand to Glass was available from LibraryThing Early Reviewers.
As the second line says, it means that the book was available from ER. It is a short form of alumnus, alumna, alumni, usually used for former students/graduates of a school or university.
This seen on both author and work pages.
