For insurance purposes I would love to write how much I paid for a book in a column, and be able to see a sum of that figure.

Is it possible?

>1 alsocass: You can use your Private comments field to store the value - but if you need a sum, you will need to export the library and do the sum in excel for example.

>1 alsocass: This site is inadequate for insurance claim purposes. The condition of the book can be added as a comment but most insurance companies want their own appraiser to look at the collection to determine value.

>4 alsocass: Right. The various insurance companies I've spoken to about coverage have lied to me. Got it.
